I never really understood why my mom kept my first notebook that I wrote 10 years ago (when I first came to America) but after reading it few minutes ago, I’m quite thankful that she did.
My grammar has definitely improved a lot, but anyways.
I’m just glad that you were my first friend here and I’m glad that you approached me even though I couldn’t speak English that well. I was the most awkward child ever, but you still came up to me and you taught me to catch butterflies and to be free. It was your 9th year death anniversary last week, and everyone that knew you still remember you, because you were very precious and you have touched all of our lives.
Rest in peace Sandra, and thank you for being such a close friend to me.
